We are the Eastleigh Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A spooky walk from Braishfield past the Halloween House. Be very afraid. Survivors will lurch forth along a country lane to reach Upper Eldon Farm and the mysterious 12th Century church in it's garden. Our walk takes us across fields and through woods, returning to Braishfield along the Monarch's Way. Finally we will enter a grave yard with some interesting residents. Fangs, bat wings and other accessories optional!
There will be a coffee stop, so bring refreshments.
There will be about 4 or 5 stiles to negotiate and a turnip field.
Parking is on the road in front of the Braishfield Village Hall car park where there are toilets and a village shop and cafe. The Wheatsheaf pub is also nearby. The Village Hall was not keen on us parking in their car park for 3 hours when there are quite a few locals using the hall on a Thursday but there is plenty of room to park on the road.
