A flat walk on good surfaces, gates but no stiles, circular walk from bridge along river side to Hampton court ; into park grounds to Long water; along Long water to boating lake, past ice house to Hampton gate.
Bring own hot drinks since there are nothing available close to the route. On the return there are public toilets and cafe in the golf club but no toilets at the start or on route.
Start point : Hampton end of Kingston bridge by junction with Barge Walk path. Travel : suggest bus or train to Kingston as parking difficult - some parking at Thameside Car park £2.60 an hour, Bentalls centre £5.25 for three hours. Philips Surrey Street Atlas 37 D7.
