A Ramblers group with walks of about 4 - 6 miles. We explore the beautiful Kent countryside from within the Tonbridge and Malling area and, occasionally, further afield.
A good proportion of this level walk is on a firm surface, making this ideal for winter.
We walk on tracks around the fishing lake in Haysden Country Park, and then wind our way through the Barden area of Tonbridge, to Barden Park. We follow the Wealdway to Powder Mills, still on good tracks, and then take to the fields for the return to Haysden Country Park. From Powder Mills onwards, expect muddy paths.
Please note that this walk has been amended from the original, due to flooding in Haysden, which has made our planned route impassable.
Although it is a fairly flat walk, sticks will be useful for the muddy fields.

Toilets are available at the start, and halfway round.
