Overview

A long-ish but flat circular walk in the Low Weald, with a mixture of fields and woods (likely to be muddy in places!). We will start walking eastwards to join the Sussex Diamond Way at Lindfield and then follow this to join the Sussex Ouse Valley Way near Danehill.

We will then head SW for a late picnic lunch at Scaynes Hill at. ca. 2pm / after ca. 8 miles, before heading back along the Sussex Ouse Valley Way to Lindfield and then on to Haywards Heath (expected finish time ca. 4.15pm).

Train from Brighton departs 10.09 arrives Haywards Heath 10.26. (Walk will not commence before arrival of this!). If driving, free parking is available in nearby streets - e.g. Mill Green Road, postcode RH16 1XQ.
