Overview

Through the village of Hever past the castle (not visible) to the picturesque village of Chiddingstone (with its famous "stone") where we have lunch at The Tulip Tree cafe. Through mostly flat fields to The Little Brown Jug, opposite Penshurst Station, returning on the xx04 back to East Croydon. Buy a return to Edenbridge (both stations), and two singles: from Edenbridge Town to Hever, and from Penshurst to Edenbridge (total cost about £10 with FP/SRC).
