Overview

We walk over to Maiden Bradley, then negotiate Long Knoll (a rare Wiltshire Marilyn) and Little Knoll before crossing the flat valley bottom to Rodmead Farm (Tree Sparrows), the source of the River Wylye.  Another hill to the gliding club, into Kingston Deverill then up again to Brimsdown Hill and return to Horningsham.  We will be back by 4.00pm, even if we have to shorten the route.  Provisions for 3 stops and plenty of water.
A purposely 'tough' walk to help some of us for next year's C2C.  This walk will not be to everyone's liking as it is hilly and will be at a faster pace than usual.  But everyone is welcome, of course.  Ask if you want advice!
