From Woodhill Car park we head towards the Village of Holford where we follow the Hodder's Combe, Lady's Edge and Sheppard's Combe before reaching Bicknoller Post.  The track then takes us along the Mcmillian Way West to Halsway Post, which is where we leave the Mcmillian Way and make our way back down to Holford passing Higher Knap.  The walk offers great views across the Quantocks and the River Servern.  There are no stiles only gates.  The climb up is a steady climb up through the woods until we reach the top, but there are a few steeper slopes on the way down.  There is a small amount of country road walking.
