From Horsmonden we walk north east then south to Goudhurst crossing fields and tracks to reach the village for lunch. Afterwards we return via the High Weald Landscape Trail by Sprivers and Furnace Pond passing through orchards and some hop fields.
Some hills but fairly flat walk. Lunch at The Star & Eagle Hotel, tea rooms or picnic by the village pond in Goudhurst.
Starting from Horsmonden village green where there should be ample free parking nearby and should also be public conveniences there. Due to various road closures in area I suggest you go via A21 to large roundabout before Lamberhurst, taking first exit then take B2162 on left immediately direct to Horsmonden.
