Overview

This is a walk of fabulous views & a lot of history.

We will start from the elevated House of Binns with not only views up & down & across the Forth Estuary but also across the Pentland Hills & other notable hills in West Lothian. Our route will then take us through Midhope Glen passing Midhope Castle on our way to Abercorn before passing through peaceful woodland to reach Blackness with its famous castle, & a pub/shop where we can pause for a while should the weather be hot & you need an excuse for a cool drink or ice cream!

We will then make our way through woodland & across the Binns Estate to return to the start point.
