Overview

A walk with James starting from the NT Ilam courtyard walking via the church, picking up any ramblers by the roadside parking – heading to Dovedale (stepping stones still out of use) so it will be over the bridge up the right-hand side of Thorpe Cloud, tea break around the Thorpe pasture area, before heading through Thorpe village. Lunch near Coldwall Farm or Blore church – return via Blore pasture, through the newly restored gardens of Ilam.  undulating. Coffee and cake at the N. T.  tea room afterwards for those who wish to stop.
