Overview

The walk starts at Ardingly Reservoir, a popular venue for sailing and other water sports as well as angling and bird watching.

The walk follows the Sussex Ouse Valley way and passes under the spectacular Ouse Valley Viaduct and continues north across fields towards Balcombe. From Balcombe it is a very pleasant walk along the eastern shoreline of the reservoir, returning  back to the car park.
Some muddy patches so may be slippery. Poles and gaiters recommended.
