Starting from Roughtor car park, Brian will be leading a six mile walk over typical moorland terrain, rough in places. This is a continuation of the map reading course Brian has been doing, but will also be of interest to others as we will be walking to places that are not normally walked and finding areas of ancient history possibly not noticed.
Coffee in Camelford after the walk.
No stiles, boots and sticks recommended as we shall be walking over some marshy ground. Bring lunch and a drink and also wet weather gear as the weather can change on the moor even though the forecast is favourable. No dogs. The nearest toilets are at Camelford.
