Walk Description: this is a very pleasant woodland walk with a few uphill sections and a number of steps, both up and down! There are a few small muddy patches but nothing much.
The autumn colours are amazing at present so hopefully no gales this week. On a good day we can get great views over the Firth of Clyde and over to Arran. There are a number of newer sculptures to spot in the grounds and the Castle still has it's famous "graffiti " coating and has a long interesting history, which is displayed on boards around the grounds.
We will start with a quick coffee/toilet break and I aim to have our lunch at the Beech Plateau, which is looking great at the moment.
The Cafe is still open at weekends for us to round off there. I would expect the walk to finish by approximately1.30pm
