We are the Bath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk up to Kelston Round Hill along part of the Cotswold Way (with fine views from the top) starting from All Saints church in Weston village.
There is a gradual ascent from Weston village up to Kelston Round Hill where we will have elevenses while enjoying breathtaking 360 degree views. Then we make a gentle descent and return to the church. After the walk, we could have refreshments in The Old Crown pub or eat packed lunches in the churchyard. There are one or two stiles on this walk. Bring walking poles if you like as part of the walk could be muddy. Dogs are not permitted.
Meet 10.15 for 10.30 start near the main door of All Saints church, Church Street, Weston, BA1 4BU (but use BA1 4EW if you need to find parking). Getting there: bus No 4 - get off at the stop after the RUH (Royal United Hospital). By car - use BA1 4EW to reach Trafalgar Road, then park nearby, eg. in Lynfield Park, Purlewent Drive, Brookfield Park , or the Weal, and walk to the church car park to enter church grounds.
