This walk is around the edges of the South Downs just north west of Chichester. It will take in two local sights. Kingley Vale, a hidden valley with 1000 year old Yew Trees and The Devils Humps a series of very large Tumuli along a ridge with views down over Chichester to the sea and towards Portsmouth. The route is Hilly (1500 feet of Ascent) with several long climbs. A route worth doing to view these unique features and probable Autumn colours.
There will be at least two stops.
This is a long drive but well worth the trip if the weather is fine. I have been checking and the weather looks ok at the moment but if it deteriates then I will cancel the walk and add it again when I am more sure of the weather.
