York Public Transport Walks
We will walk from Knarsborough on the cycle path, along the river via the Nidd Gorge and on tracks and field paths to Scotton. Apart from the decent into the gorge and the climb up from the bridge the walk is fairly flat. Following the walk the New Year lunch is booked at the Guy Fawkes at Scotton at 1pm if anyone choses not to walk to the lunch but join us there( but please let us know as lunch is booked) or if anyone wants to join the walk but not have lunch that is fine also.

From York station get a return train ticket to Knaresborough and catch the 9.42 train which arrives at 10.07 in Knaresborough. There is a bus from Scotton to Knaresborough at 14.48 and 17.10. for return journey or we could walk back to Knaresborough (shorter return walk) or a taxi.
