Overview

We begin the day with a walk along Ladybower with lovely views of the reservoir and surrounding hills, and then gradually ascend the hillside through the woods to reach Wooler Knoll. Here we will have our coffee break while enjoying the extensive views of Edale  valley. A walk across the hillside to the rugged summit of Win Hill rewards us with more spectacular views of the northern Derwent valley and moors.  As this can be a windy spot we will descend a little for a lunch break. A descent through woods is then a short walk back to the dam and the car park.
