A circular walk around Lamberhurst . This is a shorter walk taken at a leisure pace designed for those who are newer to walking or want to get back into walking. We walk out through the Lamberhurst vineyards towards Hoathly Farm , around and then up Mount Pleasant , then back to Lamberhurst on a circular route , having taken a short stop for refreshments. There is a short stretch of road walking on a quiet lane.
This is a country walk with 3 stiles and one short but steep hill ( which will be taken slowly ! ). Two out of three of the stiles are not dog friendly and have no dog gate , or any way of your dog getting in the next field other than going over the top.For this reason, unfortunately I cannot classify this as dog friendly walk . Bring a drink / snack for refreshment stop on the route . Should you want lunch after , The Brown Trout Pub is nearby .
Public car park on the B2169 , Lamberhurst Down , next to the Brown Trout PH . Coming from the Scotney Castle roundabout the car park is on the left before you reach the pub . If the car park is full , go past the pub and park in Sand Road
