We are the Mid Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The route comprises 2 loops : the first, 2.75 miles, is on tarmac paths, exploring the new (still developing) village of Lawley. The second, 3.5 miles, visits Horsehay, a very old post-industrial village grouped round a large pond; lanes and woodland, no stiles.
Start from Lawley & Horsehay Village Golf Centre, TF4 3BT, GR.668 078. (easiest route : M54/J6, A5223 south through Lawley. Golf Centre is on R, soon after Lawley Common Rbt). The walk should take about 3 hours.
