Moorland terrain going south, passing through Ballington Grange, Ashenhurst Mill and Leekbrook returning on new railside access path on the path back to Leek.

There will be winter conditions underfoot so poles may be useful. Very few stiles, mostly hard paths and rolling pasture.

Care will be needed when crossing busy roads.
