We are the Beverley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Beverley Ramblers
The walk starts from the bus stop next to the Holy Trinity Church in Leven and follows the Leven Canal down to the Hull River, then along the river to Baswick Landing, before returning along quite country roads to Leven.
The route affords good opportunities for observing bird life along the canal and river
The walk starts at 10:00 allowing time for people who wish to make use of public transport to get to Leven. From "Beverley Bus Station" take Bus no 25 at 9:40 and from "Hull Interchange" take Bus no 24 at 9:10. The walk will finish in time to allow walkers to catch return buses, to Beverley on the 14:57 bus, and Hull on the 15:07 bus.
