Overview

 A walk through contrasting urban spaces South and North of the Thames.  Includes ancient and contemporary buildings, parks and gardens, dock basins and paths along the Ravensbourne and the Thames. Easy walking, mainly on pavements and well maintained paths. There will be stops at points of interest.  

Loos are available at Lewisham Station (platform 2,  before you exit) Deptford, Greenwich and Canary Wharf.

Lunch:  Brief stop at Greenwich for picnic (bring some food) and/or Pub (Half Moon) at end of walk.

Trains: Victoria 9:33 arr. Lewisham 9:55 OR Charing Cross 9:36, London Bridge 9:45 arr Lewisham 9:53. Lewisham Station can also easily be reached from adjacent DLR station. Return from Stepney Green (District Line).
