Overview

Meet at Bures Community Centre car park on Nayland Road for a linear walk to Sudbury via Alphamstone. This will be a longer morning and shorter afternoon. Please bring a packed lunch.

There is the opportunity to have a cuppa or drink in Sudbury before catching the train back to Bures if you wish.

The train runs once an hour and is £2.70 with a rail card, £4.10 without, but it is possible to get a group ticket for 3 people together for £8.10 (i.e. the equivalent to a rail card price)
