The Stour and Orwell Walk - Part 3

Park first car at 10 o'clock, at Nacton picnic site, at the bottom of Ipswich Road, past Orwell Park School, Nacton. The picnic site is next to St. Martin's Church.

Then park second car at Freston Layby, The Strand on B1456, Ipswich. We walk from Freston at 10.30.

Possible lunch stop at Ipswich Waterfront, where there are numerous places to eat. Or bring picnic. Some of this walk is along the River Orwell, but much of it is through urban areas of Ipswich.
