From Barley we gently climb the lions back passing the Ogden reservoirs to the top of Pendle Hill by Ogden clough, keeping a close lookout for any low flying witch. Should we have a clear day then the panoramic view at the summit of the Ribble Valley and the Three Peaks is spectacular.
Paths: Well defined paths, steady inclines and a steep descent, some kissing gates and a couple of stiles
Dogs: on leads please as there are lambs at this time of the year and ground nesting birds on the moorland
Meet at Barley Community car park. Please note there is a parking fee. Public toilets at the car park.
