Overview

This varied walk through fields, hillsides and canal side is on footpaths, tracks, minor country lanes and canal tow path. It incorporates Velvet Hill, Valle-Crucis abbey, the Clwydian way the Dee valley way, and there are fantastic views. Some steep uphill and downhill sections so walking poles are advised. 5 stiles, mud possible in wet weather.
