Overview

Following the route of the butterfly trail along the west and east sides of the Stiperstones from the Bog to Blakemoorgate. Short diversion to Pennerley on the way out visiting the fantastic species-rich meadows around village. Tracks, open hillside, moorland and excellent views. Some short hilly sections with total ascent of approx. 300m but not difficult at all. Walk does NOT include the rocky ridge past Manstone, Devil’s Chair etc.
