Overview

This section involves walking alongside the River Lea, through Waltham Abbey and Epping Forest finishing at Epping Station. Clear paths but may be muddy in wet weather. A few hills and steps with three stiles.

Bring drinks and food as there are not many shops or cafes en route except in Waltham Abbey near the start. Broxbourne station is on the Greater Anglia Line from Liverpool Street and Epping is on the Central Underground Line.
