We are the Surrey and Beyond Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A lovely walk in the Surrey Hills starting from Newlands Corner we descend and head towards Shere where we will stop for a 15 minute coffee break. Bring your own coffee or pick one up from one of the cafes in the village. We then head up to the North Downs Way and back to the start. At the end of the walk there is the option of refreshments at the Plucky Pheasant or the cafe at Newlands Corner before heading home.
We will walk at a leisurely to moderate pace. There is one descent and ascent but otherwise it is a flat walk along footpaths and across fields.
Newlands Corner car park. We will meet outside the Visitor Centre. Please be ready to leave promptly at 13:00.
