We are the Worcester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A leisurely walk around Lower Broadheath. We will walk north towards Shoulton and then go back along Laugherne Brook to skirt south of Lower Broadheath and return back via woodland and some fishing ponds.
Although the route is fairly flat it is muddy and slippery in places so poles are recommended. You should wear walking boots or wellingtons. There is one ditch crossing that has some missing planks but does have hand rails.
There is the option to eat afterwards at The Bell Inn. Please arrive in good time to pre order your lunch before we start the walk. The menu does change quite often so not always the same as online but the 2 course lunch is £14.
Parking at The Bell for those eating or drinking, otherwise park on the roadside. Once you have registered for the walk, please wait on the grassy area opposite the pub
