Overview

A circular walk through the World Heritage site of the Luxulyan valley and surrounding countryside. The route includes going across the massive viaduct supporting a horse drawn tram route to Newquay and along the leat that fed Charlestown harbour. There will be valley paths, fields and lanes. 

Points of interest: Victorian industrial heritage including Treffry viaduct; tramways and leats for mine waterwheels; wildlife in lush broadleaf woodland. There are 14 stiles and muddy in places. Dogs on leads as possible livestock in fields.
