Overview

See how easy it is to get into the countryside from Maidenhead town centre.  We'll cross The Moor and head for the Thames, then walk through Riverside Gardens and over the bridge to the Taplow side of the river.  From here we'll walk to Boulters Lock and take the Thames Path to Maidenhead's northern boundary, returning to the town centre via the Green Way.  This walk affords great views of the River Thames and Cliveden and enjoys the wide open spaces of Battlefield and Widbrook Commons, together with the ponds and farmland along the Green Way.  There will be some mud on this walk but no hills or stiles!
