Meeting time & place:  in time to catch the 10.45 train from Manchester Piccadilly to Marple

Start time & place: after the arrival of the train from Piccadilly at Marple station, due 11.06

Note: walkers are advised to check one of the rail websites such as nationalrail or trainline close to the departure time in case of late changes to the running of the train.

Car Parking - Available at Marple station

Walk Route - Marple station, Lake Road, Community Farm, Roman Lake, along River Goyt, Strines Road, Plucksbridge Road, Peak Forest Canal, A626, Memorial Park, Marple station.

This circular walk includes a stop at The Garden House Marple Charity and Community Farm - home to a variety of animals including pigs, alpacas, rabbits, goats, Shetland ponies and more. Also available are a play area, sensory garden and Riverside Walk. Families with children over 8 years old are most welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult, no more than 2 children per adult.
