York Ramblers - Masham to Druids Temple Circular

Starting at Masham Riverside Car Park we will head north west through Masham, past the Brewery on the Ripon Rowel Footpath. We will head towards Micklebury Lane and the follow Low Moor Lane towards Swinton Saw Mill. There we will cross the River Burn and head up the road past Broadmires. Next we head towards Leighton Reservoir, but turn south just before we reach it. We will them have lunch atThe Druids Plantation / Druids Temple.  After a look around we will retrace our steps and continue on the Ripon Rowel Foutpath past High Knowle, turning south east, crossing the road (where we leave the Ripon Rowel Footpath).  Next we follow the footpath alongside Sole Beck , past Lobley Hall through a small wood  to a road. We turn south down the road and footpath following the River Burn, back towards Masham, passing  Club House (Golf) and finally back on another short road section into Masham.
