Given the time of year, other than several muddy and wet spots towards the beginning of the walk, overall it is quite good underfoot.
If you would like to car share, we are meeting at Lady Byron Lane, Knowle (Old Warwick Road) Solihull B93 9AG (near J5 of the M42) for a departure time of 9.00 am. Lifts are subject to availability. This is a round trip of approx. 50 miles and a voluntary donation of £6 is considered to be a reasonable contribution towards the costs incurred by the driver.
Car parking and start of the walk is at Coombe Abbey car park. There is a car parking charge of £5 so walkers might like to consider car sharing.
