Finchley & Hornsey is a friendly group, open to everyone. We walk mainly in Herts and surrounding counties.
Join us for a circular walk by way of Darlands Nature Reserve and the Totteridge Valley. Surprisingly rural, although inevitably a little pavement walking.
Various drop-out points along the route.
Be prepared for some mud after recent rain.
Bring something to eat and drink. If conditions permit, we may be able to have a morning coffee break at the Finchley Nurseries Cafe.
Meet us at Daws Lane Car Park, Mill Hill - 240 bus (runs between Golders Green, Mill Hill East, Mill Hill Broadway and Edgware Stations) stops here, get off at Birkbeck Road bus stop. Alternatively, a ten minute walk from 113/221/251/186 bus stops. Car parking may be available in nearby roads. (NB the car park has just 2 hours free parking, after which charges apply).
