Overview

A short hill walk from Traquair. Starting uphill on the Southern Upland Way, with spectacular views across the valley. The walk eventually heads away from the main path to reach the summit of Minch Moor at 567m offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. We will then head more steeply downhill on narrow rough paths towards forestry land and take a route through the trees. First on narrow paths that broaden out onto wider tracks then rejoining the Southern Upland Way and returning to our start point.

This is a circular walk

Note there are no public toilets available on this walk. Nearest refreshments can be found at Innerleithen.
