Overview

Note: this is revised Minions Walk to take in the mine working and to avoid the dogs and joggers walk around the reservoir.

Park at The Cheesewring Car Park or walk to this car park from the Hurlers car park.  There are toilets between the two car parks.  From the car park we will walk up Caradon Hill, past The Wheal Tor Cottage and on to South Caradon Mines where we will stop for tea break.  Down the hill, through the mining spoil, crossing the stream and then along the Kilmar to Liskeard disused rail line to the Hurlers Car Park.  Taking in the Hurlers and Pipers we head across Craddock Moor to Tregarrick Tor for spectacular views over Siblyback Reservoir where we stop for lunch.  Our return is across the Moor to the quarry and on to The Cheesewring and Daniel Gumb’s Cave. Then taking the disused rail line back to the car park.
