Overview

A very leisurely early spring walk, taking in the two tops of Moel Gerddi (380 meters) and Foel Senigl (311 meters) the easy way! By starting at Merthyr Farm we are already up at an elevation of 250 meters. We tackle Moel Gerddi first, starting on the Ardudwy Way and turning off to ascend the hill which gives us amazing views of Rhinog Fawr and Llyn Cwm Bychan, if we’re lucky enough to have a clear day. We descend to cross footpaths over the field in front of Rhyd yr Eirin back to Merthyr Farm from where we do another loop through the Farm to ascend Foel Senigl. We hope to have brilliant views over the coast and Llyn peninsula before descending back to the cars.
