We are the Maldon and Dengie Hundred Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Maldon and Dengie Ramblers' TA (Tuesday alternative) walks are normally between five and seven miles long and are circular walks. Sometimes they finish with a pub or café lunch.
The walk today will be stopping at the Patriarchal Stavropegic Monastery of St John the Baptist, the Orthodox monastery in Tolleshunt Knights, for a tour and for tea. A small donation to the monastery will be welcome.
Meet at the back of the Tesco car park in Church Road, Tiptree. Please do not arrive at the car park too early as Tesco put a limit of three hours on parking there.
