Overview

Starting at The Fox and Hounds in Clavering this is a 5.5 mile circular walk to the village of Berden and back. The walk is mainly along footpaths and byways and has 2 stiles along the route. After the walk, Ramblers are invited to join the walk leader for (optional) lunch at The Fox and Hounds.

Car park of The Fox and Hounds PH, High Street, Clavering CB11 4QR. Those who plan to join us for lunch at the Fox and Hounds have permission to use their carpark and should arrive in time to place their lunch order prior to the walk. If you are not staying for lunch please park either in the lay-by in front of the Clavering Christian Centre on Stortford Road (CB11 4PH) or on Middle Street (CB11 4QL) which are both a short walk from our starting point as shown on the attached map.
