Overview

An 8-mile, moderate walk starting from Morville Village Hall, through Aldenham Park to Shirlett woods, returning along stretches of the Jack Mytton Way and paths close to Morville Hall and church. Catkins, snowdrops, winter aconite and other signs of spring along the way.

About half the walk is along minor roads, lanes and tracks although there will be some muddy fields too.

Please note that the starting point has changed since this walk was first published. We will now be starting from Morville Village Hall, which means that the walk will be just under 8 miles.

Parking is limited and there will be other people using the village hall, so please share lifts and park close together to the left of the hall as you enter from the Ludlow road B4368.
