Overview

Walking from Much Wenlock, past Wenlock Abbey and onto Wyke, then Arlescott medieval village. On to Barrow then returning via apple orchards where we may see some deer, then on to pathways and fields back to Much Wenlock. Joint walk with Sandwell Ramblers and Wolverhampton Ramblers.

We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 09:00am.  The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
Please notify the leader if you intend to travel direct to the walk start.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.

St Mary's Lane car park, Much Wenlock, Shropshire. Leave Walsall by M54 to junction 6, take 2nd exit at island (A5223 Ironbridge), follow A5223 to Jiggers Island, take 3rd exit (A4169 Much Wenlock), at bottom of hill turn L to stay on A4169, follow A4169 to Gaskell Arms junction, turn L onto A458 and L again after filling station into St Mary's Road. Car park on L then R.
