From Moira Furnace we'll blast onto the Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail to later coincide with the Conkers Circuit. Enjoy woodlands galore as we skirt round Donisthorpe Woodland Park/Ashby Canal, Swainspark Wood, Gresley Wood, idyllic Albert Village Lake and Moira Junction Nature Reserve. Watch the landscape change from black (mining industrial heritage) to green (conservation). Look out for the life-size ornate cast iron features depicting the history of the transition.
