We will visit the historic Iron Furnaces at Neath Abbey then pass under the Brunel Viaduct constructed for the main railway line to London.
We’ll see a man-made waterfall and follow the river upstream to a second waterfall.
We’ll then cross the river and pass through an estate, following a minor road to a dam.
We will then return downstream to the start.

Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to the Smiths Arms where, if you like, you could also have a meal with Tony.
Directions: Take A465 towards Neath.
Exit left before Neath, signposted Neath Abbey Business Park.
Turn right at T-Junction
