Overview

This walk takes in the former Iron Works then goes under the viaduct into a wooded valley. En route, two waterfalls will be viewed.

We then head up through the wooded area, ascending the easier bridleway route.

We’ll stop at the former quarry for a quick break.

The walk continues up to the Careg Bica Standing Stone.

Traversing the ridge, we will lunch at the Trig Point before descending through woodland back to our start.

Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to the Smith’s Arms
