Overview

We will walk past old mining history, on the site of the old Graig Merthyr colliery.

An incline takes us to Maggie's Twr, where we will be on an exposed hill top with panoramic views.

We then descend back to mining relics.

Terrain: There will be some ups and downs but on good paths.
Stiles: There are no stiles on this walk.

Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to the Buck Inn at Pontlliw.

Directions:  
•    At Penllergaer Roundabout (M4 Jct47), follow A48 west
•    Continue through the traffic lights in Pontlliw
•    After 1 mile, (having past Rasoi Restaurant), park on left in layby at bend
•    (If you reach the Fountain Inn then you will have gone too far!)
