Overview

A walk in the footsteps of Jane Austen. The walk starts in the village of North Waltham just south of Basingstoke and takes in the quiet paths and lanes where Janes early years were spent and where her father was the clergyman at Steventon church.

The walk is pretty easy going with only a few stiles.

Well behaved dogs welcome

The starting point is a private car park owned by North Waltham Village Trust who are raising funds for improvements to their playground facilities so I would ask for a small voluntary contribution of say £1-2 per car please
