We are the Alton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A 7 mile circular walk starting from Colt Hill public car park, Odiham. We will take the Three Castles Path (West along the Basingstoke Canal towpath) to North Warnborough. Continue on the Three Castles Path, a short stop at Odiham Castle (bring a snack if required) to Greywell. Still on the Three Castles Path, turn South along The Street in Greywell, on to St Mary Church. A little further on before leaving Three Castles Path heading South then North before turning East back to North Warnborough and through RAF Odiham housing estate, turning North off Love Lane (RAF Odiham) to the South of Odiham and back to the car park.
A very pleasant and fairly flat country walk. There are some styles.
Raven Square car park, Alton. Proceed from Anstey Road, North along Anstey Lane, turn left along Wooteys Way and car park is on the right beside the shops.
Colt Hill car park, Odiham. No parking charge. Go past the Waterwitch PH, over the canal bridge, turn right at the end of the road into the car park.
