Overview

In this the 250th anniversary year of the birth of Jane Austin this walk takes us into the heart of the country side that she knew as a child and young adult.   We will follow paths that that she would have walked and pass places that she would have known.   Among other attractions we also see the source of the River Test and enjoy extensive views over wooded down land.  The paths are good, there are no hills and no styles.  Do not forget your picnic.
